Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and small businesses with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough client interviews to gather necessary financial data and documentation.
- Research and interpret complex tax codes and regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain and organize client files and records in compliance with company standards.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with the team to identify cross-selling opportunities and improve client retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and tax software (training provided).
