Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for compliance filing
- Research tax codes and regulations to ensure accuracy
- Communicate with clients via phone/email for documentation collection
- Assist senior associates with audit support and documentation
- Maintain client confidentiality and data security protocols
- Participate in quarterly continuing education sessions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
