Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or tax consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Drake).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
