Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice on complex tax regulations
- Assist in IRS audits and tax controversy resolution processes
- Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication
- Collaborate with senior team members on tax planning and optimization strategies
- Stay updated on evolving tax legislation and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, or CCH) and MS Office
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
