Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support client planning strategies.
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with ever-changing tax regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with senior staff on complex audits and special projects.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte, or CCH).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
