Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065).
- Conduct tax research to ensure full compliance with changing tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax status and payment schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.
- Organize and maintain client files and tax documentation.
- Collaborate with senior staff to develop tax strategies for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/EA candidate preferred).
- 0-3 years of experience in tax preparation or accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax codes.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Drake, Lacerte).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
