Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax strategies
- Maintain accurate client documentation and case files
- Utilize provided tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (public or corporate)
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Newark-based candidates preferred
