Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax compliance issues
- Utilize provided tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Review financial statements and identify optimization opportunities
- Maintain client relationships through regular communication and updates
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex cases
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state tax codes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of tax preparation experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax software (equipment provided)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
