Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with evolving regulations
- Collaborate with senior advisors on tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients
- Manage client relationships through regular communication and tax consultations
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
- Assist in IRS audits and tax controversy resolution matters
- Maintain accurate documentation and client confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or tax firm
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and state tax codes
