Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and business clients
- Organize and analyze financial documents to ensure accurate tax calculations
- Utilize tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte) to process returns efficiently
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries
- Participate in quarterly tax planning meetings with senior team members
- Maintain strict compliance with IRS regulations and tax code updates
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance client service
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
