- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Collaborate with senior staff on complex tax cases and audits
- Maintain accurate client documentation and electronic filing systems
- Provide exceptional client communication and support throughout tax seasons
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Louisiana tax codes
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
