Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065)
- Research complex tax issues using IRS publications and tax software
- Conduct tax planning consultations with clients
- Maintain accurate client documentation and case files
- Collaborate with senior staff on multi-state tax filings
- Stay updated on federal and Nevada tax law changes
- Assist with IRS correspondence and audit support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries)
- Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Valid Nevada driver's license for client visits
