Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on evolving regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Collaborate with audit team to ensure tax documentation accuracy
- Maintain client relationships through proactive communication and advisory services
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH) for efficient return processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience with individual and corporate returns
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license or eligibility to sit for CPA exam
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
