Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks across all business units
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends
- Translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and maintain Horizon's proprietary future intelligence database
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading global teams across diverse cultural contexts
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
