Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and academic research to identify 2026-relevant innovations
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum AI integration and climate-tech adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align product development with future market demands
- Author thought leadership reports on metaverse governance and biotech ethics
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and evaluate emerging startups
- Present findings to executive board using data visualization and predictive modeling
- Maintain a 'Future Radar' dashboard tracking 200+ emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or tech trend analysis
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning frameworks
- Proficiency with AI trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter, CB Insights)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5-10 year technology transitions
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020s trend predictions
