Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accuracy and timeliness
- Manage general ledger activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for multiple departments
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial reviews and tax season
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Process payroll and expense reports with strict attention to detail
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Sage, NetSuite)
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
