Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate tax returns and facilitate annual audits with internal and external auditors.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the annual budgeting process by providing variance analysis and financial forecasting reports.
- Maintain and organize the general ledger, ensuring all supporting documentation is current.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (CPA certification is a significant plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
