Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and internal financial reports.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and audit financial records for compliance with GAAP standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting processes.
- Process payroll and manage expense reports using company accounting software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
