Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting or related functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or NetSuite preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
