Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget vs. actuals.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are correctly coded and approved.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
