Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and assist with the monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in budget preparation and perform variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
