Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll with weekly disbursement to employees
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and Florida state regulations
- Analyze financial data to support strategic business decisions
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet weekly reporting deadlines consistently
