Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax documents and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Support the internal audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting systems and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
