Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate weekly disbursements.
- Process accounts payable invoices and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Ensure all financial data is compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the preparation of tax schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet tight weekly deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
