Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns to ensure full compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and financial reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with management to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure data integrity across all accounting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
