Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports with meticulous attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and complex financial transactions
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to full-cycle operations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 experience a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate financial records
- Strong communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly to stakeholders
