Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with automated workflows
- Conduct variance analysis and support budget forecasting initiatives
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and SAP platforms
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with complex financial data
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
