Responsibilities
- Execute accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures during the weekend shift to ensure financial reports are ready for Monday morning release.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with strict adherence to internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and variance analysis.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support audit requirements during the off-peak hours.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documentation and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and error detection.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
