Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize financial records, ensuring GAAP compliance and audit readiness
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with actionable insights
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis for 15+ departmental cost centers
- Streamline month-end closing processes with automation and cross-functional collaboration
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Conduct complex reconciliations for multi-entity accounts and intercompany transactions
- Mentor junior accounting staff through knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license (required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven expertise in SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or similar (preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders
