Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporations
- Lead tax planning strategies to optimize client portfolios and minimize liabilities
- Conduct IRS audit defense and compliance consulting engagements
- Mentor junior associates on tax research methodologies and software proficiency
- Develop innovative solutions for multi-jurisdictional tax challenges
- Manage client relationships and expand service offerings through strategic advisory
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Expertise in IRS compliance, multi-state taxation, and S-Corporation structures
- Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx, UltraTax)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to complex financial details
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Active Nevada CPA license required
