Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Advise clients on tax optimization strategies and IRS compliance
- Manage tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte) for accurate filing
- Lead tax research projects and develop memoranda on emerging issues
- Mentor junior associates and ensure quality control procedures
Qualifications
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA
- 3+ years of public tax accounting experience
- Expertise in federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with S-corporations and partnerships
