Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning advice to minimize liabilities
- Manage IRS audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive communication
- Mentor junior associates and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
