Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on complex tax matters
- Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient financial strategies
- Manage audit support and IRS correspondence for assigned clients
- Maintain accurate client documentation and electronic filing systems
- Mentor junior tax professionals during peak season operations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional tax preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Alaska state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, or comparable)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
- Professional certification (CPA/EA) or actively pursuing
