Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Develop tax planning strategies for high-net-worth clients and businesses
- Advise on IRS compliance, audits, and state tax regulations
- Utilize tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior partners on client retention and business development
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on tax legislation and industry trends
- Lead junior staff training and quality control initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Deep expertise in federal and Texas state tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Active CPA license or commitment to obtain within 6 months
