Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Manage IRS/state tax compliance audits and inquiries
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies and optimization
- Maintain detailed tax documentation in compliance with regulations
- Lead junior associates and supervise tax preparation workflows
- Utilize provided tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficiency
- Develop client relationships through proactive communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years public accounting tax experience
- Expertise in US tax code and state regulations
- Proficiency in provided tax software (CCH, Thomson Reuters, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive with premium equipment provided
