Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and international tax returns with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct tax research and planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage audit defense proceedings and IRS correspondence
- Lead client consultations on tax implications of business transactions
- Mentor junior associates and develop internal tax training programs
- Utilize ProSystem fx and other advanced tax software solutions
Qualifications
- CPA license or active pursuit of certification required
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and international tax frameworks
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, CCH)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred
