We are seeking a motivated individual to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive accuracy in our reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles to ensure timely processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and provide detailed support to external auditors during annual reviews.
- Streamline financial reporting workflows to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred but not strictly required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
