Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Assist with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings for 15-20 small business clients
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Provide bookkeeping support using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct financial audits and support annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of Florida tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) highly valued
