Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare complex monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing required documentation and working closely with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
