Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset schedules and assist with the annual external audit preparation and coordination.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control policies.
- Collaborate with department managers to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CPA candidate status preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
