As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to budget and forecast financial performance and control costs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Utilize accounting software to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
