We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Austin, TX. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&L reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial forecasting and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a corporate accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and federal tax regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
