Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
