Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify technical issues, crawl errors, and opportunities for improvement across the website.
- Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies focused on increasing organic traffic and improving keyword rankings for high-value terms.
- Optimize on-page elements including meta tags, headers, alt text, and internal linking structures to maximize relevance and user experience.
- Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs to track KPIs and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Lead content strategy initiatives by identifying content gaps and collaborating with writers to produce high-quality, SEO-optimized assets.
- Manage off-page SEO efforts, including link building campaigns and relationship management with industry influencers and publishers.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure our strategies remain competitive and compliant with search engine guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a track record of successfully improving organic search visibility and traffic.
- Deep technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or custom solutions).
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.
- Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO is a significant plus.
