- Manage complete revenue cycle operations including charge capture, claim submission, and payment posting
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and denials with insurance carriers
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory adherence in all billing processes
- Train staff on billing best practices and system utilization
- Collaborate with clinical departments to improve charge accuracy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in CPT/HCPCS coding and ICD-10 diagnosis codes
- Advanced proficiency in Epic or Meditech billing systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with third-party payer negotiations
