Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX regulations, and state-specific requirements for NE and VA clients
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls and internal processes
- Provide strategic financial consulting to clients across multiple industries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance (NE/VA focus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration abilities
