Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders and external audits.
- Review and optimize internal financial processes and internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast budgets and analyze variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for remote team collaboration.
