Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for diverse client portfolios
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure SOX compliance and audit readiness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Lead tax preparation and filing for corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions
- Mentor junior accountants and provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firm background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and multi-state tax compliance
- Proven track record of managing high-volume financial operations for diverse clients
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience with remote team collaboration and virtual finance management
