Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for 15-20 clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis
- Lead client consultations and provide strategic financial advice
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification or actively pursuing required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and client management skills
- Remote work experience preferred
