Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Analyze variance reports and recommend strategic adjustments
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and California tax regulations
- Lead internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting
- Maintain accurate documentation for SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Proven expertise in financial statement analysis
- Strong understanding of California tax codes
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Asana)
